The Two of Swords holds two opposing truths in perfect, frozen balance. Under the first decan of Libra (Moon), the desire for harmony creates paralysis. This is the card of the blindfolded decision-maker: you know a choice must be made, but seeing both sides so clearly makes choosing feel like betrayal. Titled 'Peace' in the Thoth tradition (ironically, as this peace is closer to paralysis), this card corresponds to the first decan of Libra (0°–10°) under the rulership of the Moon. The cardinal diplomacy of Libra meets the Moon's emotional fluctuation.
